Allied Health Profession Books

This edition is actually an improvement on the old edition. There a many more charts graphs and tables as well as current information that the old edition just does not have. I highly recommend this book.

There are no anwsers available for the text or workbook - So if you're hoping to be able to use the workbook as a tool for self assessment as to whether you're on track or not - this is not the book to be using!

This book is OKAY. The practice questions are good, but it isn't very thorough on actually teaching. If you only need practice problems then this is a good book, but if you don't know the information and need to be taught don't buy this book....

I am keeping this one for myself. Such a great informative book. I will be getting another as a gift for my aging mother. If you are not a medical professional you may want this book.

This manual is completely worthless. Do NOT buy if you are just re-certifying; I really don't know what I was thinking. I gaurantee that you will not learn anything new.

There is alot of information about the herbs and what forms they are best used in. It was hard to figure out what they should or should not be used for and finding an herb you are looking for is nearly impossible without knowing specific names....

I love the revision of this book. It is organized very well, and has a number of suggestions to help teach both very easy and the more difficult sounds to those with articulation challenges. Every SLP should own this book!

Although I have only had 5 years of experience in play therapy with elementary-age children, I felt that the techniques described in this book were basic and not very imaginative- in other words, I had already thought of many of them myself....

Definately not as good as the other volumes. Techniques aren't as interesting and kid friendly. If you are trying to choose, go for volume 2.
