Tweet is such an underrated singer. She has a great voice and her second CD is just as good as the first.   (Read full review at Amazon)

Honestly, "Turn Da Lights Off" is still not the best track on the album that showcases her vocals, depth, and growth. But I knew that she would do it AGAIN. Tweet is just pure talent and her voice evokes so much emotion and this time around-...  (Read full review at Amazon)

If there's anything that makes R&B singer / songwriter / guitarist Tweet stand out from the pack, it's her naturally raw sexuality (in other words, she doesn't rely on breathy come-ons and lyrical sleaze, with the possible exception of her...  (Read full review at Amazon)

Tweet disappoints with a very slow-paced, boring set where almost every song sounds the same. Most songs are half-baked ideas or just plain lackluster and uninspired. A few tracks prove to be worthy of a listen, but most could have been left behind.  (Read full review at Amazon)

It's Me Again is the sophomore effort from Tweet with elements of sophistication and mature sound. Nine of the sixteen tracks, Tweet either written or co-written for a personal touch for this album. Missy Elliott, who Executive Produced this...  (Read full review at Amazon)

It's Me Again Full Description
It's Me Again

It's Me Again is a bad name for a great record, the reason being that the sound that bumps infectiously through around half of these 16 tracks is distinctively Missy Elliott's (she executive produced). "Turn Da Lights Off," the opening song after a space-wasting, self-congratulatory intro, crackles for a moment with what sounds like an old Supremes sample, then off we go—each subsequent joint doles out some unexpected aural treat, be it the whomp-bomp of "Iceberg," the dreamy '70s coast-along of "Cab Ride," or the clever boogie-woogie of "Sports, Sex & Food" (listen up, girls). The small screen in simpler days is a major theme, with Tweet revisiting "Kojak" and "Taxi" for samples; when she's not channel-surfing for sounds, the sturdy-voiced chanteuse sticks around the era to rework "We Don't Need No Water." The roof never smoldered quite so elegantly. --Tammy La Gorce

After a three-year hiatus, Tweet is back, and ready to unveil the long overdue It's Me Again, an exciting, new chapter in her life, which she refers to as "Southern Hummingbird times two." Says Tweet: "It's still me, but it's a different revelation of me. I've grown as an artist as well as a woman--I've been there, done that, and it's a great feeling."
