While fish do swim back and forth basically in one layer of water you can layer diffrent type of fish throughout this tank. I have two in the lobby of my building as well as a large hexagon tank by our confrence room and with all three tanks we have (Read full review at PETCO)

This is a very beautiful tank. I really love it. It takes up very little floor space and looks beautiful. A great addition to any room. BUT it is a very high maintenance tank. Do not purchase it unless you plan to spend the time needed to keep it mai (Read full review at PETCO)

The fish will have a width of 17" x 13" to swim around in and an area of 69" to swim up and down. There are a lot of other tanks out there which are MUCH smaller. (Read full review at PETCO)

i think this is a terrible idea for a tank. you would only be able to put a few fish in the aquarium. fish swim horizontally not vertically!! (Read full review at PETCO)
