I just paid almost four hundred dollars to have our DV2500 repaired. The entire drum needed to be replaced and it barely had 100 hours of use on it. (Read full review at NexTag)

I've had this for a little over two years and think it was a pretty smart investment, my only complaint is that it doesn't have component connections, but that's getting pretty nitpicky. (Read full review at B&H Photo Video)

This unit performed exceptionally well, and has outstanding features, but unfortunately within the first year of use the drive mechanism completely failed and had to be replaced by a repair shop under the manufacturer's warranty. After this repair t (Read full review at B&H Photo Video)

I have one of these. With Final Cut Pro on a MAC it works like a dream. From new it took a few tapes to polish the heads in. I shoot mainly at 720 X 540 progressive anamorphic 16:9. Imports from Mini DV without a hitch using firewire. A great little (Read full review at B&H Photo Video)
