On the plus side, the video output is excellent on DVDs recorded at high quality. While I haven't yet tried any -R or -RW DVDs, all of my +R and +RW DVDs have recorded flawlessly. On the minus side, I've had problems with DVD playback (of home... (Read full review at Crutchfield)

My wife got me this DVD recorder for christmas. I had it plugged in and running in a few minutes. I have used it with DVD-R and DVD+R with no problems. Truly a great product. (Read full review at Crutchfield)

I bought this unit for audio-only recording on DVD-RW discs to replace units which only last about 10 months at my usage rate. Unfortunately, though the unit produces a recording which can be played on a standard dvd player without finalizing... (Read full review at Crutchfield)

| I must say, I?m really digging the approach that Samsung has taken in designing their line-up this time around. It seems they?re taking somewhat of a European approach when designing their products for the living room, realizing that style is just as important to consumers as performance (sometimes more so). This time around, we?re taking a look at Samsung?s LN-S4051D 40inch LCD HDTV and DVD-R145 HD Up converting DVD Recorder. We?ll look at just how stylish these things are, and their chances of meeting WAF (Wife Approval Factor) standards. Oh?and I guess we should also see how well they work shouldn't we? Heck, we might as well throw them together since we have them both. Read on for our Samsung Double Header review! Real Time Price Check ...
